According to police, Rajesh Maharjan, 22, from Dallu and Arjun Lama, 16, from Gorkha had together raped and strangled to death the 13-year-old Sushma Tamang (Majhi) on September 15.
After Sushma´s mother Maili reported to police about her daughter´s disappearance, Tamang´s body was found three days later in a bush at Malchayar Tole of Dallu.
Maharjan, who is an electrician by occupation, is said to be the owner of the house Sushma´s family lives as tenants. Gurung, who was absconding, was arrested from Chitwan.
