The deceased have been identified as Gopal Bohara and Roshan Bhatta of Bajhang, according to police.
The accident took place when a tipper (Na 1 Cha 298), used for carrying stones, fell some 200 meters off the road at Shreekot-5.
Bohara was the tipper driver and Bhatta was the helper, said police. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Kamal Kharel, said that both died while undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Baitadi.
Hari Bhatta of Shreekot-2 was injured in the accident and he is out of danger, said Kharel.
