Two die of suffocation while cleaning well in Dang

DANG, Aug 21: Two people have died of suffocation while cleaning a well in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-13 in Dang. According to the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, the deceased are 16-year-old Mukesh BK and 38-year-old Yam Bahadur Nepali of Damargaon, Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan-13.

DANG, Aug 21: Two people have died of suffocation while cleaning a well in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-13 in Dang. According to the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, the deceased are 16-year-old Mukesh BK and 38-year-old Yam Bahadur Nepali of Damargaon, Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan-13.


They entered the well at around 10 AM on Wednesday to clean the well of the local Durga BK.

When the police got the information of two people trapped in a well, they immediately came into action and two teams of Nepal Police and a Nepali Army team were mobilized for their rescue.


After the rescue, they were rushed to Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur where the doctors pronounced them dead at around 11 AM.
