Two die in road accident in Rautahat

RAUTAHAT, March 12: Two people were killed after a truck knocked them down at local Chandra Nigahapur along the East-West Highway on Wednesday.

Those killed in the accident are Sanjit BK of Chandrapur Municipality-10 and Ganesh Raut of the Municipality-3. BK died on the spot while Raut breathed his last on the way to hospital.The truck with registration number Ga 1 Ka 1867 and heading towards the west from the east hit them in front of the District Traffic Police Office on Wednesday evening.

Police have impounded the truck and arrested the driver Sharan Bahadur Bal of Basamadhi, Makawanpur district. RSS
