BIRATNAGAR, July 18: Two persons died and 29 injured when a bus and van collided head-on along the East-West Highway at Sanischare in Morang on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Tikaram Thapa of Morang, the bus conductor. Thapa breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar. The police have yet to ascertain the identity of a passenger who died in the incident.

Of the injured, eight have been receiving treatment at Pathari Dynastic Hospital, seven in Biratnagar Nobel Hospital and five in Neuro Hospital.
