Two dead bodies taken out 20 days after April 25 quake

GORKHA, May 16: Dead bodies of Anju BK and her daughter Pragya of Barpak VDC in Gorkha district, the epicenter of the April 25 earthquake, have been taken out from a landslide at Saurapani VDC in the district on Saturday morning.
The two were buried in the landslide that occurred after the earthquake.

Anju was returning home with her daughter after inoculating Pragya from Jholunge of Saurapani VDC on April 25. With this, the death toll in Barpak from the devastative earthquake reached 70.

The rescue teams of Nepal Army and others took out the bodies, said Chief of Bhairabi Dal Battalion of Nepal Army Prem Bahadur Thapa. RSS
