MAHENDRANAGAR, Sept 30: Two persons were killed in a road accident in Dhanusha last night.

Among the dead, one is identified as Shiva Kumar Chaudhary, 35, of Hansapur Municipality while the identity of the second who is women is yet to be ascertained,according to Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Singh. 

The accident happened as a jeep en route to Janakpur from Dhalkebar hit a motorcycle ( Ja 4 Pa 4462) coming from the opposite direction. Both riding on the motorcycle at the time left severely injured in the accident and died while being taken to the Janakpur Zonal Hospital, the District Police Office, Dhanusha said.

The dead bodies have been put in the Zonal Hospital for post-mortem examinations. Police have arrested the jeep driver along with the vehicle for further investigations into the incident.(RSS)
