KIMATHANKA, Nov 1: Two Chinese nationals have been arrested with illegal drugs from Buddha Hotel at Tumlingtar in Khandbari Municipality-9 of Sankhuwasabha district.
“The arrested are identified as San Dong and Yu Chinglin, who were residing at Khandbari-9, Tumlingtar. They hail from Sichuan Province of China,” said Police Inspector Shubhesh Adhikari at the District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha. They were arrested on the basis of a special tip off they received from their informants.
A joint police team deployed from the District Police Office and Airport Security Guard Tumlingtar Police Post arrested them with PBOG drugs, which was hidden in Buddha Hotel on Sunday afternoon.
Police Inspector Adhikari said that police have also recovered 800 kilograms of PBOG medicine from room number 502 of Buddha Hotel. According to the District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, the PBOG drugs recovered from the Chinese nationals were sent to the Drug Revenue Investigation Office, Itahari.
