Two Chand-led NCP cadres held for 'arson attack'

JUMLA, Nov 22: Police have arrested two cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on suspicion of setting vehicles on fire.

JUMLA, Nov 22: Police have arrested two cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on suspicion of setting vehicles on fire.


The vehicle was set ablaze  parked on the premises of Chandannath Municipality Sunday night incurring a loss of Rs four million.

The arrested have been identified as Ram Bahadur Bham alias Udaya of Soru Rural Municipality-6, Mugu and Laxman Nath Yogi alias Sangram of Tila Rural Municipality-1, Jumla, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Sitaram Rijal.


However, Chand-led NCP has denied its involvement in the arson attack and demanded immediate release of its cadres.
