Two arrested on suspicion of involvement in campus chief's murder

BARA, June 15: Police have detained two individuals on suspicion of their involvement in the murder of Hari Bhushan Kushwaha, chief of Ramraja Multiple Campus in Kalaiya. The incident involved gunfire from an unknown group.

BARA, June 15: Police have detained two individuals on suspicion of their involvement in the murder of Hari Bhushan Kushwaha, chief of Ramraja Multiple Campus in Kalaiya. The incident involved gunfire from an unknown group.

Bara Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahendra Khadka said that the two suspects were arrested based on preliminary evidence linking them to the crime. Initial investigations revealed that a group of three people, riding on the same motorcycle, shot at Campus Chief Kushwaha, SP Khadka informed Republica.


The shooting occurred around 5:30 PM on Friday evening in Batara Tole. Kushwaha was on his motorcycle, traveling from his home in Khajuria towards Kalaiya, when he was attacked. He was injured and later succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the Nepal Mediciti Vayodha Hospital in Birgunj.
