BANKE. Feb 9: Police have arrested two individuals for allegedly murdering 25-year-old Dinesh Rokaya of Baijnath Rural Municipality-8.
The suspects, 35-year-old Ram Bahadur Rana of Baijnath Rural Municipality-2 and a 17-year-old teenager from Baijnath Rural Municipality-6, were taken into custody.
Police nab two for alleged involvement in Gauchan's murder
According to the District Police Office, Banke, the incident occurred during a dispute at a wedding in the Bichaline area of Baijnath Rural Municipality-8. The suspects, along with four others, beat Dinesh and five others on Friday night. Dinesh sustained serious injuries and was initially treated at a medical college in Kohalpur before being transferred to Lucknow, India, for further treatment. He passed away on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, the other five injured individuals are receiving treatment at Kohalpur Medical College.
Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
