Two armed groups unite

BIRATNAGAR, April 27: Two armed outfits operating in the Tarai -- Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (Jwala Singh faction) and Madhesi Mukti Tigers -- have united on Sunday.



The new group will be called Janatantrik Madhes Mukti Tigers, according to Gajaraj, MMT´s Sunsari in-charge. The two groups agreed to unite after three days of talks held in a village in Bihar of India.



Nagendra Paswan alias Jwala Singh will be its chairman and Rajan will be its militant wing chief. The MMT had taken action against its leader Sanjay Gupta (Koutilya Sharma) immediately after the first round of talks with the government.
