Two ambulances vandalized in Mirchaiya

SIRAHA, Aug 18: Two ambulances have been vandalized by the supporters of Joint Madhesi Morcha during Madhes banda here in Mirchaiya of the district on Tuesday.

Bnada organizers vandalized the ambulances, Na 2 Cha 1090, and Na 1 Cha, 9743, this morning.Following the incident, ambulance operators in the district have halted their service in the district.

According to Gurudayal Mahato, an ambulance operator, they will not resume the service unless the security of the ambulances guaranteed.

Locals here in Mirchaiya have staged demonstrations at the streets protesting the 'excessive use of force' by the admiistration during their banda program.

According to Ram Kripal Sah, DSP at district police office, security situation is extremely tense and police personnel have been mobilized to keep the security situation intact.
