TU exam to be canceled if AI use is detected

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: Tribhuvan University has decided to cancel any exam at any level if the use of AI is detected.


The decision was made at a meeting of the Exam Reform Committee of Tribhuvan University held on Monday.

According to the committee's chair and academic chief, Prof Dr Khadga KC, any exam at any level conducted by Tribhuvan University will be canceled if the use of AI is detected. 


Additionally, for students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, Management, Law, and the Institute of Science and Technology under Tribhuvan University, it has been decided to provide a one-time opportunity for students who have missed the deadlines for annual exams from 2058 BS to semester system exams from 2069 BS, he added.
