The girl has been identified as Rabina Rokka who was playing on the road when the truck crushed her.
The girl´s relatives blocked the highway from 10 a.m. demanding action against the truck driver and compensation to the bereaved family. Police Inspector Ram Prasad Gharti said police are trying to lift the obstruction.
Family members of the girl have demanded additional compensation, apart from the Rs 500,000 that insurance companies provide.
