Truck-hit kills one

NAWALPARASI, March 10: A person was killed when a truck hit a motorcycle at Bhedabari in Mukundapur-5 of Nawalparasi on Tuesday night.

Fifty-year-old Tobram Giri of Danda in Nawalparasi was killed in the accident when the Hetauda-bound truck hit the motorcycle. Giri was pillion rider on the motorcycle heading to Kawasoti from Narayanghat.

Motorcyclist Janak Prasad Nyure (33) of Amarapuri-5 in Nawalparasi was injured in the accident and he is being treated in Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur.
