Organizing a press meet in Kathmandu, the organizer informed that the tournament will be conducted from the second week of September in league-cum-knock-out format at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur and Engineering Ground in Pulchowk.Altogether 16 teams, including 12 from Kathmandu and four from outside of the capital will take part in the tournament. The estimated cost of the tournament is over Rs 1 million, according to the organizer.
However, the organizer is yet to fix the schedules and amount of prizes to be given away to the winners.
The college also announced scholarship to two players of the tournament from higher secondary to master's level. Similarly, Great Himalayan Cricket Academy announced scholarship for a-year training to five outstanding players of the tournament at the academy.
