Triplets born in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Dec 30: A woman here has given birth to triplets. Twenty-three-year-old Niru Tamang of Padampur gave birth to the triplets in her first delivery at Chitwan Medical College’s Teaching Hospital at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.



She gave birth to two sons and a daughter after a cesarean surgery. A doctor involved in the operation said the triplets were born in a gap of half an hour. Doctors said the first born son weighs 1.5kg, the second one 2.5 kg and the daughter born at the last weighs 2 kg. Dr Shanti Regmi said the condition of the triplets and the mother is normal.
