I got an opportunity to visit the United States for my sister’s graduation. My journey started from Kathmandu via Turkey to JFK airport in New York. I was really happy and was eager to meet my sister and my younger brother. My sister’s graduation party was very different and fun.
I visited different cities across the US. My journey started from Philadelphia, the old capital of the United States in Pennsylvania where I got the opportunity to see the liberty bell. Then I went to New York. It was full of lights and visited the Statue of Liberty, a gift from France to the US.
Unpredictable explorations
I also visited the Ground Zero where the Twin Towers fell after the 9/11 terror attack. I even visited Albany, the capital city of New York. The Albany Downtown looked like miniature of New York City with smaller version of city buildings. Niagara Falls was also fascinating.
I visited the White House, and monuments nearby. I then visited Colombia University and Villanova University. My grandfather graduated in 1986 from Colombia University and my sister who recently graduated high school is now studying at Villanova University.
