Transport service along Muglin-Narayangadh resumes

RATNANAGAR (Chitwan), July 2: Transport services obstructed at two places due to landslides and floods following heavy rainfall in Chitwan district have been resumed. 



Muglin-Narayangadh road section was obstructed due to landslide while Madi-Thori h road was obstructed after floods damaged the road on Friday. 



According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the transport service was brought into operation from Friday night after removing landslides occurred at Charkilo, Panchkilo, Naukilo and Ghumaune along the Nuhlin-Narayangadh section. 



Similarly, Madi-Thori road was resumed from 6:00 pm after carrying out repair and maintenance of the damaged road. 



Meanwhile, two persons were injured after stone fallen along with landslide hit them at Chandibhanjyang VDC-5 in Chitwan district along the Muglin-Narayangadh section. 



Driver, Uddhav Bhujel, of Sunsari and helper Prakash Koirala of Biratnagar of a truck (Na 1 Ka 1864) heading towards Narayangadh from Muglin were injured in the incident. Condition of Bhujel, who received deep injury on head, is serious and has been sent to Kathmandu for treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Deepak Shrestha. RSS
