BAITADI, Nov 18: Nepal-India border point at Jhulaghat in Baitadi district will be sealed from November 22 to 25 in view of Legislative Assembly elections to be held in India.
District Administration Office Baitadi stated that the border point could be opened in case of emergencies during this period based on the understanding between the two sides.
Officiating Chief District Officer Lokendra Singh Negi told RSS that the border point will remain closed due to the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections.
Earlier, the Jhulaghat border point was closed for three days from October 3 to 5 during the District Panchayat and Gram Panchayat elections in Pithoragarh district of India.
