KATHMANDU, May 12: Vehicular movement on Araniko Highway, which was disrupted after a house collapsed and fell on the road near Sanga, resumed on Tuesday evening after the debris was cleared, government officials said.

Landslides triggered by the earthquake have affected vehicular movement in different parts of the country. Massive landslides have been reported in Lamosanghu-Barhabishe section of Araniko Highway. Similarly, the Khadichaur-Charikot has also been affected by the landslide. Movement of vehicles along Pasang Lhamu Highway, which links Kathmandu with Rasuwa, has also been disrupted, Tulsi Sitaula, secretary of Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, told Republica.

Other roads have not suffered significant damage, according to Sitaula.
