KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Badri Pandey, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, has filed a complaint against member of federal parliament Rajendra Bajgain of the Nepali Congress (NC).
Pandey, who is also a deputy General Secretary of the NC, has filed complaints at the party's Central Disciplinary Committee and the Parliamentary Party, claiming that lawmaker Bajgain has made various unfounded allegations against him on social media platforms.
According to Minister Pandey’s secretariat, Minister Pandey submitted his complaint to the disciplinary committee on Thursday and to the parliamentary party on Friday.

Minister Pandey has reportedly mentioned in the complaint that tourism entrepreneur Bajgain, who is also a member of the central committee of the NC and representative from Gorkha-1 constituency, has been spreading various accusations against him on social media since he was appointed as a minister.
Lawmaker Bajgai had taken to social media to accuse Minister Pandey of taking millions of rupees in bribes while granting a license to a casino. However, he later removed the social media post.
After that accusation, Minister Pandey said that he would take legal action against the baseless allegations made against him by Bajgain.
Challenging the allegations in the complaint filed at the party, Minister Pandey has demanded that necessary action be taken by investigating into such inappropriate, undesired, chaotic and illegal activities.
