KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has sought suggestions from tourism entrepreneurs to make the Visit Nepal Year 2020 a successful campaign.

Speaking at a meeting with representatives from different tourism associations and experts on Friday, the minister asked them to provide suggestions to the VNY Secretariat within three days. “We will process and filter the suggestions,” he said, “We will prepare and present a concrete plan in not more than 15 days.”
Issues like trekking permit, free visa, online visa, aviation fuel, illegal guiding trend, and marketing of tourism, among others, were discussed at the meeting. The minister has asked the entrepreneurs to mention their planned contribution to the VNY 2020 campaign along with the suggestions.
