JANAKPUR, July 25: The streets and intersections in Janakpur Sub Metropolitan City have been waterlogged after torrential downpour.
The inundation has been attributed partly to lack of proper management of sewerage system. The rainwater has seeped into the houses in all the 27 wards of the city.
The incessant rainfall has waterlogged National News Agency (RSS) Office and postal service office including other government offices.
The Ananda Nagar areas, Balawa neighborhood, Devi intersection and other areas have been inundated. The rain has also impacted telephone service and power transmission. RSS
