Minister Pokhrel said this while speaking at an interaction on ´importance and linguistic contribution of New Nepal Multi-Linguistic page of the Gorkhapatra daily´, organized here to mark 110 years of the establishment of the newspaper.
"It is unfortunate for us to have the leadership unable to forge consensus on the issues to be added to complete constitution-writing", he added.
Moreover, he expressed the view that the peace process was related to the integration and rehabilitation of Maoist combatants and prosperity of the nation which is impossible without the solution of these problems.
The impact of multi-lingual page of the Gorkhapatra daily was more psychological than commercial, so the attribute goes to the Gorkhapatra, he said.
On the occasion, coordinator of the multilingual page of the daily and CA member Angdawa Sherpa said the Gorkhapatra has been a common media for all linguistic communities after the publication of multilingual page in it.
Also speaking on the occasion, coordinator of Tamang language in the newspaper, Ajit Man Tamang stressed the continuity of the Tamang language page and demanded more grant for this page.
Similarly, Pramod Jha of Tarai-Madhes Loktantrik Party pointed out the need of reaching multilingual Gorkhapatra to each community across the country.
