In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has confirmed that he has signed up for three Marvel movies about the web-slinging superhero.
Holland, who plays Peter Parker in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, was asked in the interview how many more movies he had signed up for, answering that, “They give you options, and those could be exercised whenever. Like a cameo in Avengers. I’m unclear as to which movies, though. I do know I have three Spider-Man movies and three solo movies contracted. But if you have another movie, Marvel is so good at working around it.”

The actor also revealed that he found out he had received the part of the superhero via social media, “I was in my bed scrolling through Instagram. It had been about a month since my audition. And Marvel just posted a photo saying go to our website and find out who the next Spider-Man is. I went on the Marvel website on my computer and there it was: The new Spider-Man is Tom Holland. I went ballistic, like absolutely nuts.”
It has also been confirmed this week that Michael Keaton will be playing the role of Vulture in the film after months of speculation.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is due to be released July 28, 2017.
