Increase in gold and dollars, real estate stable
KATHMANDU, April 9: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made public the assets of former Governor Mahaprasad Adhikari. According to the disclosed details, Adhikari's assets have increased by approximately Rs 5.948 million over the past five years.

Adhikari's total assets now stand at around Rs 36.9 million, and he holds USD 28,608. While his holdings in gold, silver, and US dollars have grown, his real estate holdings have remained stable. Five years ago, he held USD 2,302, which has now increased to USD 28,608.
His assets include Rs 988,000 in gold, silver, and cash, which was valued at Rs 503,000 five years ago. Public details also show he has investments worth Rs 18.9 million in mutual funds and government bonds.
The disclosed assets further list land valued at Rs 10.8 million and a house valued at Rs 3.2 million.
