The organizers said the Venkateswara Temple, also known as Tirupati Balaji, has not charged anything for allowing the idols to be brought to Kathmandu and the voluntary donations collected from devotees on the day would also not be taken to India and would be transparently used for charity.

The Tirupati Balaji Temple is the most visited place of worship in the world visited by up to 100,000 pilgrims daily. “The Nepali public will get to see the same deity here in Kathmandu,” Chairman of the Shree Tirupati Balaji Wedding Festival Main Organizing Committee Dr Mahato said.
The organizers did not reveal how the idols would be transported due to security reasons but revealed that it would not be carried in an airplane.
“Nepal government would provide security once it enters Nepal,” Rajendra Aryal a member of the organizing committee said. Organizers are expecting over 50,000 visitors and are also planning a live broadcast of the wedding ceremony.
