Ganga Ram Mahato, 31 of Dibyanagar VDC died after being attacked by the tiger in western part of Chitwan. Mahato had gone there to fetch fodder for his livestock.
Mahato´s body that was maimed by the tiger attack was later traced by Park employees, who then handed over the body to Mahato´s family, Park officials said.
Authorities have recently launched a census of tigers in the Park. A tiger had also taken a life in the Park two months ago.
