He stated that they were sent back as they were being sent to the UAE illegally.

Agent Bhabilal Thapa from Rudrapur in Rupandehi has also been detained, as confirmed by Sharma. They were originally scheduled to fly to Dubai on Himalaya Airlines at 10:30 PM on Thursday.

SSP Sharma mentioned that the arrested Thapa has been sent to the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office for further investigation.

There has been an increased activity among groups facilitating Nepali travel on visit visas lately. Investigations have shown instances where individuals enticed with promises of easy employment were sent abroad illegally.

From the investigation, it was observed that some Nepalis, initially intended for recruitment in the Russian army, were taken to Dubai on a visit visa by agents before being redirected to Moscow.
