Three robbers in police net

BIRATNAGAR, Aug 5: Police arrested and made public three youths who were involved in robbing Rajeev Bhakta Joshi and Ujjwal Joshi brandishing weapons on July 29.



The looters are Rajan Majhi, 18, of Jhorahat VDC; Prabin Kumar Chaudhari, 20, of Banigama VDC; and Ashok Rahbanshi, 18, of Sidraha VDC of Morang. Police had seized a pistol, a mobile set and a simcard from them. The Joshi duo are dealing in importing and supplying medicines.



Rewati Prasad Dhakal, DSP at District Police Office, said two robbers, out of five, managed to escape. A case against carrying weapons illegally has been filed against the arrestees at the District Administration Office.
