KATHMANDU, June 5: The Government of Nepal has rescued three Nepali nationals forced into online scamming operations in Myanmar.
According to the Nepali Embassy in Bangkok, the rescue was carried out with the assistance of the Thai government. The individuals were rescued from Mewaddy, Myanmar, and repatriated to Nepal via Bangkok on Wednesday.

The embassy has urged all Nepalis to seek foreign employment only after obtaining labor permits as per government regulations. It has also advised against falling for false promises of quick and high earnings in countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand.
