Three more gas companies get NOC permit

KATHMANDU, Feb. 27: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has issued permission to three new private gas companies to operate services with purchase delivery order with the objective of making the supply of cooking gas more effective.



The NOC, a government-owned corporation, issued license to the Gita Gas, Namaste Gas, and Capa Sons allowing them to operate the services establishing bottling plants in Dhading district.



In the initial phase, each of these companies has been provided the permission to import 108 tons gas, said spokesperson of the NOC, Shiva Prasad Pudasaini. With this, as many as 51 gas companies will operate in the country. The NOC have directed the new companies to use cylinders with two colours and provide the service as per the recent decision of the NOC.



It is learnt that the NOC has been planning to bring the code of conduct regarding the two-colour cylinders soon.
