Three more contract swine flu

KATHMANDU, July 26: Three more persons including a Japanese woman staying in Nepal have been confirmed to have been infected with the pandemic H1N1 2009 virus, taking the tally of infected to 17 including two foreigners.



Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the Health Ministry said two men of 36 and 23 years of age and the 33-year-old Japanese have already been cured following treatment.



“One of the Nepali coming from Canada has returned back to Canada after receiving treatment under isolation, another Nepali returning from Qatar has gone home following treatment and the Japanese lady have also recovered after medications,” the statement read.



Another two were also taken in the isolation ward but were allowed to leave after their blood tests turned negative, the statement said.
