KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Three people including surveyor Rambir Yadav at Survey Office, Lalitpur, have been arrested. A team of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested them on Tuesday with a bribe of Rs 250,000.

According to Narahari Ghimire, the spokesperson of the CIAA, along with Surveyor Yadav, Accountants Dinesh Banjara and Binod Adhikari have been taken into custody with the amount of Rs 250,000 bribes.

Spokesperson Ghimire mentioned that the CIAA's team was deployed after receiving a report that they demanded a bribe from the service seekers to prepare an ownership certificate after plotting the land. Further investigation into the incident is currently underway, according to the CIAA.
