Three die in Chitwan accident

CHITWAN, April 18: At least three persons were killed and another two-and-a-half dozen injured when a bus met with an accident at Ramnagar of Chitwan on Sunday.



The bus (Na 2 Kha 8577) was heading for Kholesimal of eastern Chitwan from Gorkha district.



Twenty-seven of those injured have been admitted to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment. According to the police, other injured have been sent to other hospitals.



It was difficult for local police to rescue the injured passengers as it was raining. The bus was carrying 51 passengers.
