Three arrested on charge of robbing foreign nationals in Banepa

KAVREPALANCHOK, Sept 25: Police have arrested three people on the charge of robbing the belongings of foreign nationals.


The suspects are accused of stealing belongings from Italian and German citizens who had come to Dhulikhel Hospital for ‘internship’.

According to the District Police Office, the arrested individuals have been identified as Hari Chaudhary of Nawalparasi, Sandesh Jairu of Sunapati Rural Municipality, Ramechhap, and Ujjwal Dahal of Sunthan, Panauti Municipality-9. They were arrested last night along with the stolen goods in connection with robbing two foreign nationals by showing a knife.


As soon as the information of the robbery involving foreign nationals was received, the police team mobilized from the Area Police Office, Banepa, arrested them and initiated an investigation.
