Three armed looters arrested

KATHMANDU, Jan 22: Police nabbed three members of an armed gang involved in looting at Bhatkekopul [Damaged Bridge] near Bishalnagar in the capital Thursday evening. According to police, one of the arrested looters was injured in police firing. He is receiving treatment at Bir Hospital. Police opened fire after the looters tried to attack on the police personnel who were following the gang based on tip off about possible looting. Police have confiscated two pistols from the gang.
