KATHMANDU, May 1: West Indies ‘A’ have given Nepal a target of 228 runs in the third T20 match against the home team.


West Indies won the toss and chose to bat first at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, scoring 227 runs at the loss of three wickets in 20 overs.


Johnson Charles scored 119 runs off 61 balls, including 13 fours and 7 sixes, before being dismissed.

He completed his century in 55 balls. Opener Evin Lewis was out for 17 runs.


Likewise, Andre Fletcher and Johnson Charles contributed to a massive partnership of 145 runs, laying the foundation for a substantial total.


Andre Fletcher scored 53 runs off 33 balls, including 4 fours and 3 sixes, before getting out.


For Nepal, spinner Sagar Dhakal managed to catch Deepen in the long-on boundary while attempting a big shot.


Fabian Allen was out for 19 runs off 9 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six.


Kimmo Paul was out for 13 runs.
