There will be two flights to India daily: Minister Ale

KATHMANDU, March 31: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale has said that there will be two flights to Delhi every day.

KATHMANDU, March 31: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale has said that there will be two flights to Delhi every day.


Speaking at a program organized by Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Minister Ale said that two flights were being operated to Delhi every day. He said the government is moving forward to carry out two flights a week to Bangkok and three flights a week to Riyadh of Saudi Arabia. Minister Ale said that there have been three flights a week to Mumbai from March 21 and to Bangalore from March 25.

He said, "Nepal Airlines Corporation started operating three flights a week to Mumbai starting March 21. Similarly, starting March 25, we have been operating three flights a week to Bangalore. From April 1, we will have two flights to Narita, Japan. We are operating 14 flights a week with two daily flights to Delhi.”


Similarly, he informed all present at the program that there are regular flights to Dubai, Doha and Hong Kong.


Minister Ale said that since he took over the ministry, the grounded aircraft have been flying in the sky for maximum time. He mentioned that aircraft that used to fly for four to five hours now fly for 10 to 13 hours.
