Feb 5: Nihira Bajracharya, 5, after being appointed as the Living Goddess Kumari of Lalitpur at Gabahal Patan. The Living Goddess will take her throne on February 17 after prayers and tantric rituals. Kumari is believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Taleju, the clan goddess of the Malla kings who ruled Nepal between 12th to 18th centuries.
