The first step is to find what makes you alive, and majority of us fail to do so. We are so busy sorting things out in our day to day life that we forget to take a moment to think about what we'd rather be doing, and take the ride for granted. With the passing of each day, month rolling and the change of calendar every year, there is a part of us which longs to find the right time and moment to chase our dreams.

What if the right time is now, at this moment?

It's the journey, rather than the destination, of each of our lives which really matters by the end. As you know how unpredictable life can get with sudden twists and turns, there can be no correct time to start what you are looking forward to. If you don't dare take the plunge right now, it might as well be late and your journey might be incomplete. Imagine spending not just one day, but each sunshine you wake up to feeding you with excitement and passion. Imagine never finding any day of your life mundane. The drive, the passion, the craze...each emotion doubles up when you do what you love doing.

Each of us have choices in life and what we become depends on which option we decide to choose. If you are the one who has been cribbing about your job and wanting a change after say five years of being in the same field, you need to take that decision. If you don't want to take the risk, you need to learn to like your work and not complain on how life is boring. Life is what you make of it. So if you know what you want in life, just go pursue it. It's never too early to work on your dreams. If you aren't sure what you exactly want, keep exploring yourself until you realize it. It's never too late to chase your dreams, either.

The other day when I visited a temple and crossed the cremation site on its premises, it gave me chills as it always does. Despite being aware of it, taking a moment to think about how we are already cloaked in the mantle of bodily death makes you reevaluate life. That all living things eventually die is a universal truth, and what makes this temporary phase between birth and death worthwhile is how we choose to spend it. Instead of lamenting over the 'shortness' of this phase, we need to embrace the gift of life that we've been given. And to make the most of it, let's trail the road less traveled.
