La Pia, founder director and principal of the school, said, “We usually organize plays inside the school premises itself. But this time, to make it professional and reach a larger audience, we set up the play in a large auditorium at the Russian Centre.”
She further expressed that the children who participated in the play put in great efforts and worked hard to put up this play in a short period of time.
“Since a professional theatre artiste taught the students, it was a great learning experience for the cast and the crew members of the play. The fund raised from this event is going to be donated for the underprivileged children of the community,” added Pia.
Ashutosh Basnyat, a grade 8 student, shared, “It was a great learning experience for us to be a part of something huge for the first time.”
Another grade 8 student who participated in the play said, “I really had a great time being a part of the play. It was fun, and at the same time, a good exposure for us.”
