This mega exhibition ´The Great Indian Education Fair´ started on Friday, July 16 and is ending on July 17 at The Everest Hotel. [break] This education fair is organized by the India-based AFAIRS Exhibitions & Media Pvt Ltd in support with Nepal India Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Global Reach, Nepal.
Sanjeev Bolia, Founder and Managing Director of AFAIRS Exhibitions & Media Pvt Ltd, the chief organizer of the fair says, "The Great Indian Education Fair aims to enable people to gather greater knowledge about the Indian education system and facilitate greater interaction between institution representatives, parents and students in Nepal. This fair will also create vast opportunities for local institutions and other educations organizations to form business partnerships with their counterparts in India with the common goal to bring the highest standard in education systems.
Conceived to meet a growing demand for education in India, the Fair will exhibit some of India´s prominent universities and colleges. This segment will offer students from science, commerce and humanities streams, and a choice of undergraduate, postgraduate, professional courses, which can be pursued in India. The courses will range from Engineering, Management, Medical, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, Architecture, Journalism, Media Studies, Advertising, Multimedia, Fashion and many more.
The Great Indian Education Fair 2010 will feature some of the prominent institutions and universities such as NITTE University (Mangalore), M M University, Jaipur National University, Acharya Institutes (Bangalore), Siddaganga Institute of Technology (Karnataka), Pillai Group of institutions (Mumbai), and IIPM Global B-School (New Delhi).
"We expect nearly 8,000 visitors at this two-day event to meet representatives from India´s finest and leading educational institutes from school level to colleges and universities. The exhibition has come to Kathmandu after the previous successful event in May 2010 in Kathmandu.
