KATHMANDU, Oct 8: Marking the graduation ceremony of its students, The British College has said that the first batch to pass out from the college with a degree is ready to serve the market.
The graduates hold degrees in BSc in Computing, which is awarded by Leeds Beckett University, and BBA and MSC International Management awarded by the University of West of England, read a statement issued by the college. 65 students graduated from the college this year.

Addressing the ceremony, the British Ambassador to Nepal John Rankin said that education is important for alleviating poverty and the graduates need to make wise use of their education to bring change in the country. He also praised the quality education that the college has provided by partnering with the UK's two reputed universities.
Chairman of Nepal Britain Chamber of Commerce, Rajendra Khetan mentioned the challenges students would have to face in the corporate world and what they should do to acquire competitive as well as comparative advantage.
