BHAKTAPUR, Oct 30: Politburo member of CPN-UML and the party's candidate for the House of Representatives from Bhaktapur constituency no 2, and former minister Mahesh Basnet has expressed his anger against the current coalition government.
Speaking at a large gathering of workers and candidate introduction program organized by the CPN-UML Suryabinayak City Committee Ward no 5 today, Basnet claimed that the coalition government, which has cut the development budget and stopped the development by ignoring the people's demand, will be dismissed forever without holding a public vote in the upcoming elections on November 20. Mentioning that the government will be formed under the leadership of UML after November 20, he said that this government will again create a wave of development and prosperity.

Similarly, Basnet reminded that the KP Oli-led government had established the country as a developing country for sustainable development. He said, "The KP Oli-led government brought large and small and national pride projects on a large scale. Various types of physical infrastructure construction programs were everywhere. However, with the arrival of the coalition government, the people have not been able to see any plan for development.”
Reminding that the UML has stood for the country and its people for decades, he said that the coalition parties do not even have the moral right to ask for votes from the people of Bhaktapur. Alleging that they are trying to play with the fate and future of the people by cutting the development budget, Basnet said that the candidates of the coalition party can go to the people of Bhaktapur only after wearing masks.
