KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Businessman Dhruba Bahadur Thapa has been elected as the president of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal.
He defeated businessman Karan Chaudhary by 66 votes to be elected as the chairperson. Thapa secured 1,413 votes while his rival candidate Chaudhary received a total of 1,347 votes.
Out of 3,200 members in the association, 2,788 votes were cast on Wednesday. Earlier, unopposed members have been elected in all seven provinces.
