Thames Int'l College Commencement ceremony held

KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Thames International College organized the ninth Commencement ceremony in honor of the class of 2015 in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Chairman of Thames International College, Rajendra Man Sherchan encouraged the graduates to join the government's literacy campaign "Teach One, Each One"."You have been fortunate to get quality education. It is now time to translate your learning to help others in becoming literates," he added.

Former deputy executive director of UNICEF and Assistant Secretary General of United Nations, Kul Chandra Gautam emphasized on the rules to achieving success.

The ceremony also honored Professor Dr Renuka Joshi, in recognition of the decade-long leadership as Academic Director of Thames International College.

Around 500 people, including students and guardians, participated in the ceremony. Thames International College is a premier academic institution offering a variety of undergraduate programs.
