On March 10, the textbook monitoring committee of the Department of Education (DoE) had sealed Sitapaila-based Mission Publications for printing grade six and seven textbooks without government's permission.

Textbooks of grade six to 10 are published only by Janak Education Material Centre (JEMC), the government printing press, whereas the private publication houses are authorized to print and supply books for only grade one to five across the country. The Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) will take action against the publication house on the basis of the report submitted by the committee, said the CDC Director Diwakar Dhungel.
